INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT: 2024 SONA of President Marcos

Assignment Overview

President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will deliver his State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 22, 2024.  Watch and listen OR read the entire SONA and answer the following guide questions:

a.  What are the key microeconomics highlights of President Marcos's report which made an impact to our economy?  List at least 4 and explain how they affected the microeconomics units, that is, households and business firms (whether positively or negatively). (20 pts.)

b.  What are your key takeaways on the 2nd SONA of President Marcos? Explain at least 3. (5 pts.)
